its for a rider 140-210 lbs on an 888 because of the amount of preload adjustability. 
i stripped the paint completely off, sanded with fine grit sand paper, than finer grit sandpaper, than sanded the entire bike with steel wool so it has a perfectly polished finish. You can almost see your reflection in it.
